My Wife's Fishing Lure
(a friend sent me this email)

Like most serious fishermen, I really get into the gear -- only the best of the latest gear is what I use. Last year I was hauling in the big ones with a Snapper 2050 top water artificial dive-jig but all of a sudden the fish stopped biting. Fearing that all of the other fishermen in the area were using the same lure and the fish were becomming immune to it (just like what happened 2 years ago with the Neon Alpha Jumper), I spent most of my time at the next International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (or ICAST) looking for the next greatest bait.
Sure enough I found it!! It is a new product called the "Bikini Lure", see BikiniLures.com. Battery operated with a microchip inside, this really is hi-tech fishing. I bought one at the show and brought it home to try it on the local fish.
That lure has 14 LED lights and a sound system which does such a great job of attracting the fish, especially in murkey waters. It works so well, infact, that I no longer carry any other lures in my tackle box. Only problem is that I could only afford to buy one of them, and on my last fishing trip, this really big fish ate my lure and snapped my line!
Pondering the problem, I turned to my wife who was enjoying the afternoon reading her book up on the bow and started to wonder if it was the LED lights, or the bikini part of the lure that the fish liked. On a hunch, I tried a couple of casts with her bikini and pulled in the biggest fish I have ever caught!
Just goes to show, everyone loves a bikini, even the fish. :) .
