Originally Brenda built a small pond next to her pool.
It would have been fine to keep a few koi, but then we did a large rescue at another person's pond and Brenda ended up with a LOT of koi on her hands.
That was all it took, and her pond was then converted into a filter, to service her swimming pool which became her new koi pond.
The filter pond is really neat, she made it by hand with masonry products and it looks like natural rock.
She is still working on it, but you can see how the water will eventually cascade from one level to the next.
