The boats start rolling in

Ken Abrahams rolled in with his Priate racer and skiff.



Here comes a Michalak IMB. 13'9" long and 5' wide.



He has spent the past 2 years working on this project, and this will be it's maiden voyage.



Nice simple kick up rudder. We were discussing an emergency backup system incase the tiller broke (suggested by the guy who's tummy you can see to the left). The system would be made up of a simple rope run thru a small hole at the aft most part of the top portion of the rudder, and the line would run thru two holes in each side of the transom so you could pull on each side and control the rudder sorta like steering a soap box racer.



As you can see more people are showing up.



The June Bug is still a center for discussion.



At this point I thought it would be cool to do a panoramic view of what a beautiful day it was. Here are most of the pictures sewn together.
