Board Boat Guide
Board boats are small sailboats that are like big surf boards that usually have only a very small cockpit for just your feet, and no back rest. They are also different from dinghies, which resemble a walnut shell that you sit inside of. Many sailors learned how to sail in them, and they are often kept much longer than any other type of boat because they are so easy to keep. Most of them have very simple sail rigs with unstayed masts. Easy to use, usually very good performance, and quick setup time is what makes these the most used boats. With a little creativity, these boats can be turned into light cruisers and taken on long voyages.
