Mystery Boat 5 -- this one is a real stumper, I have never seen one like it. It is 16' long, has a fiberglass swinging centerboard, not sure on the ballast, possibly internal ballast or none at all. Here is the wierd part - it has a bipod mast and single sail. The sail has a wire in the luff, and does not go into a luff groove -- it is flown like a staysail.     p1   p2   p3   p4   p5   p6

Underwater fin & keel types:
swing keel - A ballsted keel that swings down from beneath the hull.
swing centerboard - An unballasted board that swings down from beneath the hull.
daggerboard - An unballasted board that drops strait down thru the bottom of the center line of the hull.
drop keel - A ballasted daggerboard.
shoal keel - A short fixed ballasted keel.
full keel - A deep (like 2'+) fixed ballasted keel, and possibly with a ballast bulb.
wing keel - A keel with fins at the end of the keel
shoal keel / Daggerboard - A short fixed ballasted keel with an additional unballasted board that drops strait down.
shoal keel / Swing Centerboard - A short fixed ballasted keel with an additional unballasted board that swings down.
twin bilge - 2 small fixed keels, often the boat can dry out sitting upright on these.
tri bilge - 3 small fixed keels
leeboard(s) - A board that hangs from the side, either pivoting on a bolt or hung from ropes.
swing keel (or fixed) - example that the boat was manufactured in two different models

Notes:
"own" means it is a link to an owners discussion group and/or website
"mfg" means it is a link to the manufacturer's site
The boat weight is including the ballast weight, except for when the boat is water ballasted. Then the boat weight is for when the boat is not carrying the water.
